This philosophy is combined in the present and in the future, by combining constant attention to you, our valued customers, benevolence towards each of our employees, a partnership relationship with our suppliers and maximum respect for the nature that surrounds us.

We would like to thank you for finding out (much) more about the actions, choices and commitments of our hotel. Here you will find a complete list of our environmental initiatives:

Energy :

  • Solar panels for domestic hot water,
  • Photovoltaic panels for electricity,
  • Wood chip boiler and heat pump for heating,
  • New and/or class A electrical cleaning appliances,
  • Flow restrictor installed on each tap,
  • 100% LED lighting,
  • Exterior lighting limited to the strict minimum and automatically activated,
  • Two charging points for electric vehicles,
  • Four electrically-assisted bicycles.

Resources :

  • Récupération d’eau de pluie pour alimenter les chasses d’eau du bâtiment neuf, le remplissage de la piscine & l’arrosage des végétaux (les citernes ont une capacité de 110m3),
  • Unused clean water (from water jugs, for example) recovered and reused as much as possible for watering,
  • The pool is never emptied because the water is treated in a closed circuit,
  • A glass bottle is provided in each room to limit the use of plastic bottles,
  • No phytosanitary products for exterior maintenance and limited mowing,
  • Plantations chosen locally and requiring little water,
  • Use eco-labelled and measured household products, and the same for the swimming pool and spa,
  • Processing fresh, local and seasonal produce in the kitchen,
  • A selection of organic or sustainable producers as close as possible,
  • Single-use products are disappearing; we prefer more durable materials (water jugs and cloth tablecloths),
  • Most of our hygiene products and room amenities are organic, made in the Ardèche and packaged in eco-responsible or returnable packaging,
  • Sort and recycle all waste (local waste collection centre) or compost in the garden.

Social aspects :

  • Adapting employees' working hours to better reconcile work and family life,
  • 9 salariés annuels en CDI et à temps complet,
  • Tickets restaurant, avantages sociaux, formation continue à impact positif sur les relations professionnelles et personnelles de nos salariés… et surtout des échanges quotidiens !
  • Respected, locally-based suppliers (farmers, builders, printers, architects, etc. to support the local economy) and we are loyal to them. Promoting their products in the shop.

And because we want to help our customers take action, stickers are displayed in strategic places to encourage them to do the right thing. Here are a few examples... once you're there, you'll be sure to spot them!

Eco-gestures :

  • Turn off the heating or air conditioning when you air your bedroom
  • Use the right amount of soap, shampoo, toilet paper & hand towels
  • Keep as many of the same sheets and towels as possible during your stay
  • Turning off lights when leaving a room and switching off appliances on standby
  • Unplug unused chargers
  • Use the glass bottles provided in your room
  • Practise selective sorting by filling the bins provided for this purpose
  • Sort bio-waste and fill compost bowls in your bedroom
  • Limiting waste at breakfast and in restaurants
  • Take the stairs first
