Going for a walk also means taking care of the environment. trails, fauna, flora and other walkers. The hiker's charter states the essential rules for responsible hiking.

Respect for nature, discretion, safety, sharing space... a few simple gestures can make all the difference.

 

Some routes cross grazing areas protected by herd dogs.

 

A few simple reflexes to keep in mind:

✔ stay on the path
✔ go around herds if possible
✔ stop calmly if a dog approaches
✔ avoid sudden movements.
