Spring Festival

There's an event for every season: come along to the Spring Festival on Saturday 22 March!

Every season has its own event: come along to the Spring Festival on Saturday 22 March and spend a day in the garden, with workshops, music, a country-style meal, a chat and a treasure hunt!

The whisper of spring whistles through the winds... It's time to get out and about, reconnect with nature and enjoy some outdoor activities:

- At 10.30am: walk and chat about local biodiversity with Suzy Laurans from the LPO* Drôme-Ardèche
OR eco-workshop "Everything you need to know about compost" with Yohann Pichant from SICTOBA**. on registration

💡 Remember to wear comfortable shoes

Objective of the "compost" workshop: Understand the principles of composting and learn how to effectively recycle bio-waste.

On the programme:

✔️ The basics of composting: how it works, the decomposition cycle and best practices

✔️ Biowaste management regulations and obligations

✔️ Solutions for individuals: in-company composting, neighbourhood composting, home composting.

✔️ Case studies and feedback

✔️ Practical workshop: setting up a composter and day-to-day management

This workshop is for anyone who wants to understand how composting works.

At 12pm: country-style meal in the garden (One-off short-lived menu on reservationincluding cocktail, starter, main course and dessert)
💡 Bring your straw hat or cap to protect yourself from the sun
At 2.30pm: musical siesta with the duo DALÉ ! ... "a soft musical cuddle that sparkles inside".

Settled on a comfortable deckchair or on the garden lawn, two voices, two hearts in unison on a vibrant, electric guitar take you on an immobile journey. An invitation through their echoes... to connect, to sketch the outline of a memory, an emotion and a smile in the corner. To share together the gentleness and vulnerability so often overlooked. Carla & Hugo wrap you up in songs, some of them little-known, but always lovingly chosen and reworked by themselves. Embark with them on a borderless journey between Latin warmth and pop with a taste of Jazz and Soul... Morpheus' arms are waiting for you!

💡 Bring your blanket, plaid or fleece to ward off the cool breeze.
2.30pm to 4.30pm: entertainment on registration (subject to availability) :
  • Nest box making workshop with the LPO Drôme-Ardèche

Provide a refuge for birds by taking part in a fun and friendly activity, ideal for young and old alike. An LPO activity leader will guide you in assembling your nesting box and give you the keys to a good installation to welcome a brood. This will also be an opportunity to learn about the needs of these wonderful animals, who delight us with their acrobatics and their songs. Come away with your own creation and the pleasure of taking action and understanding nature!

  • Flower arrangement workshop with Sofia Héraclès - Les Fleurs de l'Alune.

An opportunity to learn how to create a spring table decoration (with the first tulips, anemones, narcissi, ranunculus and flowering branches from her farm based in Saint André Lachamp). After talking about the flowers, their origin and production, and the species on offer, each participant will be guided through the process of creating a biodegradable arrangement, without floral foam, and will be able to take it home with them (container and materials provided).

  • Treasure hunt in the garden for all ages with Teddy Bertrand - Ardèche Sport Nature & Co

On your own or in a small group, grab your map and set off to explore the surrounding area at your own pace. Far from being competitive, this orienteering activity invites you to observe, reflect and immerse yourself in the surrounding landscape and hamlets. Each marker is a new opportunity to discover a heritage feature, an unusual viewpoint or a hidden detail of the village.

A fun adventure accessible to all, where the main thing is to enjoy exploring!
