At Les Murets, the conservatory is one of those places. Open all year round, it welcomes you with a relaxed atmosphere, featuring large windows looking out onto the outdoors and, in the cooler months, the pleasure of gathering round the fireplace. 🔥
Whether you fancy reading a few pages, having a drink, playing a game, doing a bit of work or simply settling down comfortably… Make yourselves at home!
🌿 A space open to all, to enjoy at your own pace
Tables, chairs and benches allow you to sit however you like. You’ll also find a selection of books, games and tourist information, to plan your next trip to the Ardèche or find inspiration for an outing.
Need to get some work done or look up some information? A A computer is also available for you to use.
And of course, the Honesty Bar is there to complement all these little breaks.
🍺 Local produce… and a few refreshing treats
When it comes to chilled drinks, we have chosen to prioritise local producers and local expertise:
- still and sparkling water
- fruit juice
- iced tea
- lemonade, fizzy drinks
- beers
For a more relaxing break or a gentle wake-up, you also have coffee, tea and herbal teas, with everything you need to hand: a kettle, cups and everything you need to make your own hot drink.
And because a little treat doesn’t always have to wait until dessert time… local artisan ice creams are also available. 🍦
🤍 The idea? Trust, quite simply
Here, you don’t have to wait for someone to serve you.
“Honesty” in English means “honest”… Here, this self-service area is called the “Véranda”. That sums up the spirit of this place, which has always been part of Les Murets.
The conservatory operates on a self-service basis and you can use it with complete confidence. Make yourself comfortable, choose whatever takes your fancy and simply note down what you’ve had.
These will then be added to your bill and can be paid at your leisure at the end of your stay.
A simple way of working, just like us: Fewer constraints, more freedom, and that mutual trust which is part and parcel of the warm welcome we wish to offer you.
Because living well together is also part of relationships and human ecology…
So, whether it’s after a day spent exploring the Ardèche, before heading out for dinner, for a spot of reading or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet of Les Murets… The conservatory is yours too. 🌿
