Definition of the European Ecolabel
Our establishment has European Ecolabel certification... but what is Ecolabel?
Here's what you need to know:
- THE official European Union label for environmental excellence, created in 1992, valid and recognised in all European countries.
- A voluntary and individual approach, labelling products and services, including tourist accommodation (our category).
- A rigorous, controlled process that only 21 hotels in mainland France can boast.
- Certification is awarded by AFNOR, an independent body, after an on-site inspection visit to examine every point in the specifications.
