Spring Festival 2024!
Talk on local biodiversity, country-style meal, Picodon PDO & beer pairing, hike, animated workshops
With spring just around the corner, do you feel like getting out and about, rediscovering and reconnecting with nature and the living world? ? Auberge Les Murets invites you to its 2nd Spring Festival!
This event, which is open to all, offers you the chance to spend a day in the garden, with several highlights:
- At 11am, walk and talk with Olivier Peyronel, naturalist from the Ardèche and mountain guide, passionate about the Cévennes massif, to discuss the theme of local biodiversity.
- At 12 noon, aperitif with beer, outdoor meal including a combination of Picodon PDO and beer, in the presence of Fromagers Fermiers du Peytot (Planzolles) & Brasserie de l'Ardèche méridionale Céven'Ale (Rosières) - unique menu on reservation on 04 75 39 08 32 - includes starter, main course, cheese, dessert and drinks - 25€/adult - 15€/children
- At 2pm, hike starting from the Auberge for a 5km circuit with no change in altitude, accompanied by Serge Benedetti, Martine Thibon et Jean-Luc Delorme from the association Les Joyeux Randonneurs (Joyeuse)* - booking required on 04 75 39 08 32
- From 2pm to 4pm, insect hotel-making workshops with Olivier Peyronel and pebble drawings to take home with you!
- We advise you to bring suitable footwear for these various activities.

Don't forget to book if you want to have lunch on the premises to discover our temporary menu, served exclusively on that day, as well as for the afternoon walk.

- Olivier Peyronel, Ardèche naturalist and mountain guide, based in the southern Ardèche
- Les Fromagers Fermiers du Peytot, makers of PDO Picodons and the association that also runs the "Terra Cabra" goat farm in Planzolles.
- Brasserie de l'Ardèche méridionale Céven'Ale, brewers of a full range of traditional beers at Rosières
- Les Joyeux Randonneurs, an association affiliated to the Fédération Française de Randonnées Pédestres (FFRP), with 160 members from Lablachère, Joyeuse, Rosières, Ruoms, Salavas, St Maurice d'Ardèche, etc.
A rich programme of encounters and discoveries awaits you at the Auberge Les Murets in Chandolas. Come one, come all, at a time to suit you! Because it combines discovery and tasting, this event has been selected as one of Les étapes savoureuses.
